Ted Shown

Prior to joining Concentric, Ted was President of Logistics Unlimited (LUI) and formerly President and founder of Ted G. Shown Associates (TGSA), which was in the business of providing cargo management services to passenger airlines who outsourced their cargo management to TGSA.  Additionally, he held executive management roles at both AirCal and Jet America.  Logistics Unlimited was a freight forwarder that moved freight worldwide with heavy concentration in the domestic markets.  Ted’s expertise is in providing consulting and freight services to medium size companies with an ultimate goal of reducing client’s logistics expenses while keeping service constant or improved.

Prior to his corporate career, Ted served as a fleet carrier aviator in the US Navy. During the last part of his active duty, he served on the Navy’s Logistics Task Force, which established the Navy’s organic airlift capability. He left the regular Navy and entered the Navy Reserve where he worked at the Naval Air Systems Command in San Diego and Washington, D.C. He is retired from the Navy with the rank of Commander.

Mr. Shown has a BA and BS in Electrical Engineering from Rice University in Houston, Texas, an MS in Systems Management from the University of Southern California, an MA in Christian Apologetics as well as a Masters in Science and Religion from Biola University.

Ted resides in San Juan Capistrano with his wife, Linda. They have three grown daughters, Nicole, Tiffany and Amanda. They have seven grandchildren, Jadyn Kyle, Ryan, Ayla, Nate, Fynn, Paige and Audrey.  He currently serves on the board of Premiere Christian Education Group. He is a founding director of The Family Action Pac and served on the the San Juan Capistrano Planning Commission.
